Following a plan I found in Woman’s World

I bought a Woman’s World magazine and found this plan that I am going to start following.  It will help give me a Leptin boost, which is a hormone that is supposed to help in losing weight.  I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which causes me to have weight issues, but poor food choices doesn’t help either.  Anyway, I am going to give this plan a try.  I think with having a menu to go by will help me out more, because I won’t have to wonder what to have each day it will already be posted for me.  For each meal, I have like three choices.  I’m hoping that maybe this will help me in my weight loss journey.

Spin Class at the gym

I went to the gym tonight to do the spin class and boy was it hard.  I couldn’t even finish the class because of the pain in my knee.  I felt so embarrassed getting off that bike, everyone looking at me.  I’m glad that I at least got 20 minutes in before I had to stop.  I’m just so upset at myself because had I had the discipline all along I wouldn’t have this problem.  I’m hoping that I will be able to do the step class tomorrow evening.  I’m going to try and not dwell on the fact that I had to stop in the middle of the class but instead, be proud that I at least gave it a shot. 

Joined a gym

I joined a gym last Tuesday and started classes that night.  Tuesday night I did the total body sculpt and then Thursday I did the step class.  This week I am going to add the total body sculpt as a Saturday workout.  I am also going to start back using my WiiFit which is also a great workout.

My story

I have been fighting with my weight since I graduated high school.   I have been up and down with my weight and just couldn’t find the discipline to stick to anything.  Well, here it is 17 years later and I am finally going to do something about it.  I have made up my mind that if I want to feel good about myself, I need to get in gear.  I am going to join a gym and I also bought the WiiFit and have a bowflex treadclimber.  My goal is to start off with an aerobics class at the gym and workout on the WiiFit and once I get used to the exercising I am going to add my bowflex into my routine once a week and then move it up to two days a week.  Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my story.  It’s not a long one but to the point.
